Quick Start Guide
Every complete system supplied should come with a specific connection drawing. This drawing will have a number, for example UD01234. If you do not have this drawing, please contact Technical support.
You should not have to refer to the individual connection drawings supplied with each product.
Refer to the documentation supplied with each product for mechanical assembly details. Failure to install the products in the correct way will invalidate your warranty. Pay particular attention to the assembly instructions for the entry panel.
The lock release output varies from system to system, but as a general rule there is no 12V DC supply available for fail SAFE (open) releases or maglocks. If using a fail safe type release you will need a separate, suitable DC power supply.
If the system does not work or you have technical questions, please call 01376 556010 and ask for Technical Support. Before calling please have the connection drawing to hand. Each system power supply (786/13, 789/5, 1038/20 etc) should have a unique 5-digit serial number printed on a paper sticker. Please also have this number to hand as this tells us exactly what equipment you have been supplied with.
Goods return procedure
If you wish to return an item you must first have a Goods Return Number (GRN). Any item sent back without a GRN will be returned to you without further notification. To receive a GRN for a faulty piece of equipment you MUST first have spoken to a member of the Technical Support department
